How does Anime Cyclone work?

Anime Cyclone is a desktop application that downloads high-quality wallpapers to your computer automatically and sets them as your desktop background.
All the images are downloaded from theAnimeGallery.com which has over 14,500 anime wallpapers. Using our gallery site as the program's database saves your the hassle of downloading the images manually and wasting space on your computer, in addition to ensuring a constant stream of new content that Anime Cyclone will use.

How often can I update my wallpaper?

The program is limited to one cycle every 10 minutes as a minimum, and with no maximum limitation.
The 10 minute limit is set up to limit the strain on theAnimeGallery.com as well as to give the user a change to appreciate each wallpaper.

Why did I get a warning saying 'No wallpapers available'?

The programs chooses wallpapers based on two settings. Your list of series, which may include all images on the site by using * as the series name, and your monitor resolution.
If you have an unusual screen resolution, or selected very rare anime series, it may be the case that no wallpapers were found that matched your criteria.
Try using the wilcard value * to broaden your search, and then narrow it down once you know that there are some wallpapers available.

What if I want wallpapers from other resolutions, not just mine?

To maximize the quality of the wallpapers delivered to you, only wallpapers that match your screen resolution are picked for download.
In future releases, we may allow other resolutions to be used, specially if they are getting few results based on their criteria.

Why didn't my wallpaper update after I added more series?

The cycle time is enforced even if new series are added. So you will need to wait until the cycle is completed until your new search criteria is used.
You can always lower the cycle to 10 minutes until it updates and then set it to your normal frequency if you want to see results as soon as possible.

What resolutions are supported by Anime Cyclone?

The program supports any resolution, however the number of available wallpapers to you will depend on the selection of images on theAnimeGallery.com .
The site has currently over 14,500 wallpapers from most common wallpapers resolutions, including Netbook (1024x600), covering 6 different aspect ratios. We are sure it would be almost impossible not to find your resolution in our broad collection of anime wallpapers.
